Well i finally killed my motor. It took over 50 bottles of n20 with shots up to 150 . it lastest longer then i predicted.
Its a 98sunfire gt 2.4 5 spd.
I bought another wrecked sunfire im usen the block to do a build with.
Any ideas on what i should do for a nicely built motor?
Rods, pistons, cams etc? head.
Any combos that have been done with decent HP #;s would be greatly appreciated!

You decided to kill the motor well before you have any idea as to rebuilding it? Thats just backwards.

^ He wants to know what combinations people have used to yeild decent results. He just looking for a little help, he already knows he has to internals to be switched.
Choko - What kind of power due you want to make? Do you plan on sticking to nitrous or do you want to go n/a turbo?

just wanted a insight on what people have actually had good luck with aka dyno hp not seat hp.
I plan on staying with nitrous. unless there is a decent combo out to make decent power N/A with a good tune..
I ordered 1 thing already. Eagle Rods.
Not sure on what pistons to do etc.
im looking forward to this rebuild, choko. the sunflower is gonna kick a$$ when ur done with it. let me know if you need any help

Do 10.5:1 compression, you wont have any troubles tuning it, and high compression motors tend to have heat problems from the obvious higher cylinder pressures. If you want to keep it simple, go with 10.5 compression.
