So right now my exhaust set-up consists of a obx header, into a 2.5" hi-flow cat, into 2.5" 25" SS resonator, into 2.5" piping then into a magnaflow 2.25"/in muffler.....
AND ITS STILL TOO LOUD!!
My question is, if I take off the muffler and add a tip to the pipe, will this quiet it down at all? My buddy has a gtp, although its a compltely diff motor, he has no muffler and its quiet as all hell....Just wondering if it would be the same for me....

Taking the muffler would presumably make it louder. I believe Dynomax makes a quiet muffler. That may be something to look into.
get an oval muffler, can style mufflers are known to be loud and annoying.

get a quieter muffler, and damn, choose a 2.5" one... the rest of your setup being 2.5" means nothing at all if even one part of it is 2.25"
