exhaust question
Tuesday, August 15, 2006 4:36 PM
hey guys i was thinking about putting dual exhaust on my car.. i already have a 4-1 header with 2 1/4" piping header back, with a high flow cat.. i was wondering if dual would make me lose power, gain power, or just be the same.. thanks

a single pipe alllll the way back is what's best for 4cyls, minimum bends and turns = good.

I had the rksport dualies on mine and it definitely felt like i lost power, and i had the same set up as you do. I won't ever put dualies on a car and look for performance unless it's from a single muffler going from side to side with dual outlets. The big fart can rksport dualies are more for looks i think.

duals will not hurt performance, they only add a lil extra weight..
