Where can I get rod bearings???
Wednesday, August 16, 2006 11:53 AM
Hello....

I'm trying to order some rod bearings for my car-- probably main bearings as well...

I would like to get Clevite bearings- stock size.... I can't find anywhere to purchase these online other than JBodyperformance.com - but they seem a little expensive from there; something about they make them extra special??

Does anyone have any websites to order these from OR possibly clevite part numbers?? I know summit carries them- but they wouldnt ship for like 2 weeks.

Help- I can't find $hit- just a bunch of dead ends.

Thanks!
-Marc

Napa is your friend.. Thats where I got mine at.. Rod and Main bearings.. All for under 80-90 bucks... Try there.. Id call, rather than go online.

Good stuff...

The local NAPA said the main bearings were around 75 bucks and the rod bearings like 10 bucks each..

Plus- I can get em next day..

Thanks for the info.
