ok well I got a cel yesterday and got it read today and it was p0172 too rich bank one what the heck is this
I put a cat back on like a month ago been through like 4 tanks of gas and suddenly I get a cel is it related just not sure what to do

Means the front O2 sensor is picking up a rich condition. It may be a bad sensor.
yea I'm going to be pulling it this weekend
but a weird thing happend today I was driving to work and the cel went off driving on back roads then I start driving on the highway and to my suprise the cel comes on I just don't get it

i got a custom down pipe that had a leak and my a/fs on the wideband were rich as hell even with all my efforts to lean it out with hptuners... after i got it redone, my airfuels leaned themselves out...

well some new realy weird news I found out that the cel will turn off after some round town driving and even stay off now on highway driving but if I have to give it more than half throtal coming up a grade it comes on this one realy has me stumped checked for exhaust no leaks this one realy has me
