Ironing Bugs After HO Intake Install
Saturday, August 19, 2006 2:42 PM
Got the Quad HO intake in and all went pretty smoothly. Car started and has had a chance to adjust to the new intake for the last week or so. Only thing I notice is a slight hesitation at top range of the rpm scale occasionally and when it gets hot, the idle tends to fluctuate slightly below 1000 rpm and almost stalls if I don't watch the throttle. Any suggestions on smoothing these two bugs out?

sound like alil tiny leak i would check all the hoses and if that doent work tighten the bolts to the head
or just get a new gasket and sealer

No hissing and no codes thrown? I'll check again and tighten up the intake bolts as suggested. I pulled the fuel rail to give myself room to work so I'll check around that as well. Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Any other ideas?
