Has anyone used these yet? They are on the Summit racing site. They are a Hypereutectic piston. Doesn't give a rating or anything. Thanks guys.

I used some on a 400 bored and stroked block as a 406 chevy and they worked out nicely. Flat top hypers with 4vr's. but that was a 4.155 bore small block which aftermarket production for those things are ummm MaSSiVE! overall nice piston.

WE use those on the stock 2.2L rebuilds all the time, they'll be good for you. Whoever's doing your machine work, makre sure when you take the block in, have the pistons in hand with main caps for the block. If you don't provide the main caps, the bores will be distorted a little bit and the pistons won't have the proper clearance when doing the final assembly. I'm an engine rebuilder by trade.

Project Resurrection is in full swing!

There a good piston. I've got them in my motor. Stronger than a regular cast piston, with less thermal expansion, so they have tighter cylinder wall clearances than a cast or forged piston. They were all with in one gram of eachother, which makes for an easier balancing job. You can even run up to a 50+ hp shot of nitrous without worries, anything more or boost I would reccomend a forged piston.
