I want to no if this will make a big difference on my 98 cavalier z24 and wat does this system do.

If you don't know what it does go do some reasearch before asking a question like that. Man you newbs are lazy.

A WB will give you NO PERFORMANCE (bet now your gonna ask if I'm sure and then decide to buy a NB O2 gauge thinking it'll help you instead) but it will tell you how your car is running.

Monitors your Air to fuel ratio in great accuracy. Link to XD-16 Kit
Does nothing by itself performance wise. It is used in conjunction with either HPtunners or another tuning software or devises.
It is used to ensure that your car is running in the proper air to fuel range, but it only monitors the system. It does not change anything. You have to tune / change things by othermethodss. Examples: HPtunners software. SAFC system, fuel pressure regulator, bigger or smaller injectors, and on-n-on. So unless you are looking at tuning your car...I.E. boosting and would need to be aware of your a/f ratio to get your car running properly.

I think that covered most of it.

What is the dif between the XD-1 kit, and the NGK kit?
