i have a 2.4l LD9 auto. can i buy a z24 manual transmission for my car and have the swap go smoothly. are there any extra parts that i would need to buy.

I would search the transmission forum for this if I were you....and no, it won't. You have to weld in new mounting brackets to the frame (or something like that), among other things. I have only read a few posts on it a while back. You would be better off selling your car now and buying a manual.

I agree. Too much work is involved in the swap. Not to mention LOTS of money. But if your seriuos in swapping it to manual, then check out the transmossion forums. (as stated by brain as well)

But seriuosly though. The auto Z's are still a great piece of work. I understand the fun of manuals (and the extra umph!) But if shifting power is what your looking for in your auto Z, -B&M shifter plus-
