Changing Stock Exhaust Bracket/Sleeve?

Hey guys, figured this is where this would be asked?

My mom has a 2000 Cavy, and recently the rear exhaust bracket sleeve rusted out and broke. I bought a new sleeve for it, but I'm a we-bit confused on how to install it. The sleeve itself connects to a rubber mount, and the mount is bolted to some support under the car. Now given, since a lot of this is rusted and what not, its hard to work with. When you replace this sleeve, do you have to remove the rubber mount and unbolt it from that support too? Do I need a new rubber mount as well? The old one looks pretty tight in there, so just wondering what I have to do . . .

you might as well replace it with a new one. the braacket thet goes around the muffler is the part you want to replace??? if it is you might as well replace the hanger that bolts to the car its 2 bolts and its off but make sure you get the right one because in diffrent years the mount changed from a circle to a flat piece

Well the arm that bolts to the car is still in good condition somehow . . . So is the rubber mount that connects to it, which makes no sense as to why the sleeve got so messed up. I'll check at my work then for that new hanger & rubber piece. Any idea the bolt size for it?

See, I didn't know you could buy the whole thing. I just went to my work and figured the sleeve was all I needed, so I got it from parts. Little did I know that the rubber mount, arm, etc are all extra. I'll snag em all tomorrow

Any insight on that bolt size? I hate bolts, lol
