jus recievedmy 18" case length resonator, everythings good, but i got some questions
its a louvred internal design, so which way should i mount it,
on the one side i can put it so the exhaust enters the openings which i would assume would quiet it down more, but wouldnt that restrict the flow?
on the other hand i could mount it the other direction which would allow the exhaust to pass over the closed side of the louvres, which would help flow, but wouldnt it lose effectiveness on the quieting down the exhaust
my second question IS... im putting dual exhaust tips splitting at the axle and apart, with this resonator, will i still need a muffler on there, or will the longer resonator do a decent job of queiting it all down
thanks guys!
i would think that you should put it so the louvers are going with the flow. that way there is less restriction.
Take it back and get a perforated core one. And yeah, you're going to need more than an 18" resonator if you want it to sound decent.

its 18 inches long in the case and 24 inches total length, a longer one isnt really gonna fit in there
