I was wondering if anybody has ever gotten there shifter threaded so that you can use more shift knobs like this weighted RAZO knob i want to get. I have the B&M sport short throw shifter but wanted to cut my lever down some more and then have it threaded to fit the knob. Is this something anybody can do or do you have to take it to a shop?
well if you're gonna cut it down anyway, get yourself a pipe threader that'll fit, try it before you cut it, and if you screw it up, just cut it off.
