has anyone used the 40 dollar aluminum underdrive pullys for the 2.4's off ebay? just wondering if thyeare worth the cash or if they actually gain you any performance.
Yes they work. It felt as if I gained some top end, but the car was never dynoed to be sure,

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.
get the rsm underdrive pulley on ebay for 30$!!!
the guys has like 20 of them.
ok thanks guys, i'll look into them but now i'm searching for a header. sucks being on a budget.
I do not know the ebay person " frankiesz" , but if it is a rsm pulley for $30.......I do not know how they could even manufacture the pulley for that cheap. When I ran my last GP on my LD9 pulleys it was with out a dought.....cost more than 30$ to make the pulleys. Maybe I will buy one and see how it is. I also emailed the guy and asked him a few questions. I'll see if he email me back. But 30$ damn.
I would not use the 40 ebay pulley, just from the shear under driven percent it is, but to each his own. But if they are RSM pulleys for $30...hell I would buy one.
Also if you do buy them. Make sure to check in a month or two to see if the crank seal is rubbing a groove into the pulley. This has been seen on older motors with hard rubber seals...

Yeah,
They're real RSM UD pulleys.
Pick up them back when he was selling them for $75 a couple months ago.
And they're the lightest on the market for sure.
But of all the ones, I have ^^ MD-LD9 now.
and its the best fitting/designed one out in my opinion.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.

frankiesz is the seller.
I managed to acquire some when Z-Spec bought out RSM and they've just been just been taking up space so I want to get rid of them even at a loss. Theres no coating on these pulleys

i ordered one of these a few weeks ago. hope to get it on (with the rest of the engine) soon. the seller frankie told me the same thing....they were Z-Spec, and then everyone here on the .org said z-spec = rsm....so it sounds like a decent deal.
anyone know what size belt i'm gonna need to run this UD pulley? what about the UD pulley + ac delete (not the pulley, just w/o the ac....speedracer z said you can do this)
also, MD LD9...lookin for some info on an alt pulley if youve got one for the 2.4. specs and price?

Check out my CARDOMAIN page
Tabasco..
All pulleys I make are stock diameter pulleys, they just weight a lot less.
Stock Crank: 61.92 oz.
Machined Crank: 24.28 oz. ....Mastin claimed his weighed in at 23.... oz so did a few others.
Stock Alternator: 6.34 oz.
Machined Alternator: 3.04 oz.
$125 for a crank pulley & $50 for a alternator. I should have the group purchase up soon I'm waiting on a few things to come together first though.
I would start with a 345K5 belt, then work down from there. It should be pretty close to the right size.
Also a lot of the pictures are on my cardomain pages:
