i have a cold air intake in my cavy but im getting a newer better one
the thing is it doesnt have those vacumme holes and tubing. its 2.2L cavy
do i need those i have no clue
and if n e one has a 2.2L cavy with a intake can u post a pic so i cant see it

those hoses are for your PCV valve. if you do not plug that in there are 2 things that can happen. the first is your car will throw a CEL (Check Engine Light). mine did this when i put my intake on my 2.4 LD9 because the intake i bought didnt have a big enough hose to fit over my PCV valve.
the second thing is worse in some cases. it most places (here in ontario atleast) this is seen as bypassing the emissions system by those with the badges. a cop can give you a ticket for this because you dont have a fully functional emissions system. so if any of your friends have one of those PCV breathers that look like a little air filter, they are usually illegal for on road use.
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
