im not sure if i posted this in the right spot...so many frickin forums here its hard to keep track. but anyway,

i broke this accidentally when trying (and still trying) to remove the upper motor mount insert. damn thing just wont budge out of there...

is it a coolant temp sensor? can i drive it with it broken in half to auto zone to try to get a replacement?

its located on the black coolant pipe, just under the bracket for the upper motor mount, above the alternator. looks like 2 wires.

my car doesent seem to want to start without it connected...it wont stay connected when driving unless i remove it and maybe tape it up...can someone answer this please??
