I just got my new aem intake,so I was wondering if it was a pain in the a$$ to remove the stock air box out.The big box where the filter goes is what I was wondering about, seems to go into the inner fender and just behing the drivers headlight assembly.

The box is in 2 pieces, the part that you see and the part thats down in the fender. There are a couple bolts around (or in, can't remember) the airbox that you take out, then just pull up on it, and it pops off. Its connected at the piece that goes down into the fender in the front, so it just separates there. You can leave the piece in the fender if you want, no harm there, and it actually helps to get some cooler air up into the engine bay.
