Ok. So I got a 2.3L exhaust cam today at the yard. It's off a 1990 Olds Cutlass Calais. Did those cars only come in the ld2? Cause the one I got it off of had the belt driven ps pump. Did I get the right exhaust cam? lol...

Well now that I've read I think that is one you can use. I thought since it was an HO you couldn't use it., or it would of been mine a long time ago.
I will see about getting you gasgets you need, but our kit to get them sometime is more $$$ cause you get more then what you need.
See, I don't think it was an HO though, but I'm not sure. We thought that since it had the belt driven ps pump that it had to be the right exhaust cam?

both HO's and LO's have belt driven PS pumps.
Exhaust cam up top, Intake cam on the bottom.....tell me if I'm good to go please

Of course it'll work, its the same damn motor that my exhaust cam came out of.. My car is running right? lol Whats it gonna take for you and Trey to stop asking questions about these cams to see if itll work? duuurr.

Why won't the HO cams work do you have to bore out for the 35mm lifters?
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.
If you use the exhaust cam housing form the 2.3 that you got the cam from and you use some 2.3 lifters everything will bolt right to the 2.4 head. I have the HO cams on my 2.4. The only modifications that had to be done were having a cam position sensor pad installed on the intake cam and having the stock intake cam housing bored out for the 2.3L lifters.
Mitdr774 who did your intake cam mods because I have a set of HO cams that I want to put in my car along with porting & polishing a spare head I have? Also how much power did you pickup with the cams ?
