So I've noticed my oil pressure has dropped about 10psi for some reason. When it's all the way warmed up, it will read about 17-18psi when it usually read 25psi. Would there be any reason for this? Also I've noticed on cold starts it doesn't even get to 50psi when it read almost 75 before. Any reason at all for this sudden drop in oil pressure? Oil is full, could it be from me being over on my oil change?

yes it could. also, wat brand oil filter are you using. we had this problem on the dirt car i worked on. any engi ne we built we would go on the track with 60-70 psi, come off the track with 20psi with the dummy light on. we ran Fram oil filters then. we swtiched to a K&N filter. went out on track with 7-80 psi, came off with 50psi

so anyone who says the oil filter dosent affect oil pressure, i beg to differ
