im ganna be putting my new internals in this winter and i was woundering if the is any place that has a performance bearing that i can use instead of going to the dealership to get the bearings.

that didnt help cause those bearing were for the LN2 not the ECOTEC. but thanks for looking for me.

call up your local auto parts store and ask if they can order you a set of Clevite 77 bearings. These are probably the best ones you can buy for your car.
Like DCStang67 said, get the Clevites. I rebuilt my talon and put them in, good price great part. I got rods and mains for like $110. Just make sure the the right ones if you have any machining done.

The only bearings you can get for the Ecotec currently is STOCK OEM GM Bearings. You can not get any other bearings since no one makes them for the Ecotec yet.
The Clevites are for the 2.3 and 2.4 not sure if they have any for the 2.2 but I know for a fact they dont offer it for the Ecotec yet (unless something changed with in the past few months.)
Stock GM Ones are fine unless you want to push boohoo power which at that point you will want a different crank and different rods... then you can use Honda bearings since the new high power rods / crank are setup to use a Honda Rod Bearing...
The Main bearings will always be GM unless some company comes out with some aftermarket ones.
