RSM Ecotec Throttle Body ? 58mm? 62mm?
Friday, December 01, 2006 1:34 PM
I would like to know if any one has used a RSM T.B. for any ecotec? Was there any noticeable difference?
Is there two different sizes? 58mm or 62mm. I found one at a good price but he says it is a 58mm. What size is the stock?

yes there was a noticeable top end gain which is magnified with boost

for ppl who have measured them they actually are 60.1mm

Not all of thier stuff is crap, however every single post from some ppl is stupid

Yeah could you remind us how fast was your RSM supercharger? Never ran right last I know. A company that advertise 62mm Tb and sell them at 60mm are screwing people. You got caught and will never admit it cause your ego is bigger than your brain.

I had my stock TB ported to 62mm and an K&N intake. It increased the throttle response pretty well.

the machine shop I went to didnt want to taper it down and the fly and widen it again to fit the intake manifold opening so I said to hell with them and hello to reveco tb. If you have a straight thru 62mm it is basically a waste. reveco is 69-60-62 I believe. All about Air Velocity baby.

umm that is for a chevy 305...a completely different motor and that will not fit a j-body without a good bit of modification. And just cause i think its funny a LD9 is 146 cubic inches....that is talking about a chevy 305, lol.

Yeah I know but it was what my 2.8L 5m needed for the tubular intake and 9k cams. Stock TB was 60mm and WAY too small for a revver like that. Just thought I'd toss it out there...
