2.4 alt. pulley on Eco?
Monday, December 04, 2006 8:20 PM
Has any one used the AEM true power pulley on their Eco? I think both motors use the same ac delco alternator and have the same size pulley. If this pulley is jus a lightened stock sized one, it should fit and work properly right?

AEM is an OVER-SIZED lightweight pulley. It was designed to be using in conjunction with the unorthodox under-driven pulley. With a AEM alternator pulley, and an unorthodox crank pulley, 2.4 motors will use a stock belt size, and keep their alternators spinning at the stock speed. And yes it will fit on your alternator just fine. I will be visiting the machine shop again this week to try and get a better time frame on when my next group purchase will be. I'm thinking very soon. I might be able to get you a gray alternator pulley, that I seen at the machine shop when I was there yesterday.
