hi , i need some help. i know that this isnt the right forum but, i cant find a thread on this any where.I have a 97 z 2.4 and iam swaping a 00-02 2.4 in to it (just for the fresher motor) and was wondering if the wiring harness for the 97 will plug-n-ply with the 00-02 2.4.. can any one help me with this........
The only thing you need to do is drill and tap the whole for the knock sensor. Also use your 97 injectors and fuel rail.

It is on the back of the block. Both motors already have one, but the 97 is a 1 wire and the 99+ are a 2 wire. They both have different size threads. The 1 wire is bigger, so you drill out the hole of the 1 wire and tap it for a 1 wire. There is a post somewhere on here that tells the exact size drill and tap needed.
