High-Flow Cat Confusion?

Hmm, was just wondering if this is a misprint, or if someone knows what is going on. I'm gathering prices and what not to build up my exhaust. Header, hiflow cat, etc. Well... I know RKSport makes a hiflow cat for our cars which is supposed to be the best. Well...

If you go to the RKSport site under 2005, Cavalier, and find their hi-flow cat, which is right here: http://rksport.com/main/part_detail.asp?itemid=561&appid=161&mdid=2&catid=3 . It says at the end "Will not fit Ecotec engine". Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 03-05 only came with the 2.2 Ecotec. Yet if you go to other sites that sell the SAME exact "RKSport Hi-Flow Cat", they don't say anything about it. Example, http://www.turbotechracing.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=530&idproduct=779 , TurboTech sells the same thing for a tad cheaper, under "2004 cavalier", and it doesn't say anything about not fitting on the Ecotecs.

The question, is it a misprint on RKSport's site? Does anyone have the Hi-Flow cat, and if so, where did you get it and did you have any problems fitting to the new header or Ecotec?

Rest assured RKSport dosn't actually make that CAT, and that it's a rebadged Magnaflow or something like that.

i have a magnaflow one for my 01 Z. The shop that did my whole exhaust didn't say they had any trouble with it. Although he argued there is no such thing as a "high flow" cat.

there is so such thing as a high flow cat what they usually do is place the catalyst elements outside the body of cat, now i dont mean outside the cat as in you can see them i mean molded into the wall of the cat so its all smooth inside,so there out of the way of exhaust gases. they also make the lip transistion in and out of the cat smoother so there less turbulence hence smoother flow
