Sounds like me... I broke off part of the ring land. What do your plugs look like? Any of them smashed?

170 you say? I'm not sure what the compression on the 2.2 is supposed to be. I know for the 2.4 compression is supposed to be between 180-210. No matter what all of your chambers sound very low especially #3 50 is bad real bad. Sounds like to me that you could have blown a head gasket or you could of detonated. Do you have white smoke coming out of your exhaust when it is running? Does it run at all? Sounds like you need to start tearing your engine out. Don't be surprised if you have a hole in piston #3. Sounds like it is time to do and engine swap, or pull your engine and rebuild it with forged internals so you can safely fun boost. Did you upgrade your fuel system for the turbo and nitrous? What kind of spark plugs are you using? Just info some might need from you to help you figure it out. I'm not saying I know what is wrong with your car. But from the sounds of it I would be looking at replacing your pistons at least.

My 2.4 is 204, 201, 172, 210, and it has 121,000 on it. Mine is starting to smoke a little.
My number three last year was 206.

Save some for tuning.... This more than likely could have been prevented..... Eitherway, Tune the next one... Its cheaper than replacing the engine over and over again.....

with those 3 all being that low, it sounds like you jumped a timing chain. mine were all 160 on my last engine, then I retimed it and back up to 208-208-206-208

You need to first do a wet compression test BEFORE you buy a motor. This could be just a head issue.

would i need the wiring throughout the whole car ao woul i just need the wireing in the engine bay?

just engine bay, unplug the 2200 harness, plug in the Ecotec harness......

OR you can try to rewire your stock harness to work on the Ecotec..... youd need a wire diagram first to be sure its possable.

I just did a compression test on my cylinders sat. before we did the timing and they were reading about 160 in all cylinders. Is that pretty average for a motor is 77k miles on it?

With a supercharger on there, you'll see higher pressures than a N/A motor. I had around 210 on all of mine (until I blew #4.. ha ha!)... since you have a smaller pulley you should see a higher static pressure.

Ok, that didn't really answer my question. Plus i should have added that i live in colo. so the altitude cause my compression to be about 160?
