well engine blew..... couldnt handle the 75shot..... now its time to either *A* rebuild, *B* buy new ecotec engine, *C* engine swap....... which would yall recomend??????? let me know guys i need your help......

As long as didn't crack the block, I'd say rebuild...or L67 swap if you have the time and money.

well its ONLY cylinder 2 thats FUBAR...... thats what the "tests" showed......
Tests aren't good enough unfortunately. Rip it down and take a good look at what the damage is before you decide for or against rebuild.

If you had something on there to retard the timing... .like the MSD DIS-2... you probably wouldn't have blown the engine
75 shouldn't have blown! I run 100 shot wet zex direct port W/ 100 octane fuel and 3.5 degrees retard w/msd on stock 2.4. 7 bottles no problems yet. 112,000 on motor. Rebuild and tune a little better!
If he's running stock heat range platinum plugs... instead of colder copper plugs... and no timing mods.... Then a 75 shot is almost guaranteed to kill the motor....it's just a matter of time.
I ran hundreds of passes on my old 2000 Z24... the "Bottle Fed Zed" but I had all the other requisite mods... I never had any problems...
Anyone who thinks they can just strap on a nitrous kit without the other mods, is asking for it..
yeah lol all i had was a COMPLETLY stock block... with intake and nitrous..... i used the 50shot for a while it worked fine no problems at all then i got greedy and tried the 75shot..... i guess i shoulda posted and got all the info i needed before i did it... oh well its been done now... i'll keep yall posted with the engine situation
