127-135 stock HP, from www.quad4forums.com write up on the 2.3 hybrid head swap. Thats the average the shop that did the write up has seen at the wheels on stock LD9's.

230 hp is "all" Karo made? Was it so fast b/c it was stripped and just a drag car?

In my head i hope to get about that some day N/A, but things like a wedding and stuff might get in the way of my long term plans.

Karo's engine made 240hp N/A out of the 2.4, to the wheels...... On a 100shot I believe he made 360hp? I forget the exact amount at the moment.

My mild build put down 171hp to the wheels.

Mike Karas put down 410hp(?) to the wheels on his built/turbo 2.4

As others have said, stock 2.4's put down 125-140ish to the wheels (lower for auto, slightly higher for 5 speeds)

hmmm...... I could have sworn it was 240/360, but I've been known to be wrong either way, its alot of HP from a 2.4

Thats a nice and linear power curve. Anyone know the details of his build. I really want something like 225 or 250 all motor and streetable if i can some day. I thought the 086 head was pretty much the only way with all the talk about how restrictive it is, but i know Karo did it on the 2.4 head. Please any help would be great.

That list is pretty out dated concerning the mods to the rest of the car, which doesn't really concern this post anyway.

I didn't know Miller Performance made all that stuff for our cars. All their website lists is the oil pan and some numatic hood supports. Was it custom work for Karo or just stuff they don't offer any more?

Anyone have or want to share the specs on the cams?

Just trying to get a referance for stuff I have been looking at.
