when mine had the knock of death it was the rod brearing's on #1& #3 rods .. also a 2200.. I droped the oil pan and found this .. see pic .. vvvvvvvv
WOW THATS TERRIBLE
You take a women and X her by PSI devide the legs and you can then juice the car......LOL
yep 2200 notorious for rods snapping. lol better hope its not a rod if it is then it gives you an excuse to trash that motor and drop in an eco.

thats a bad thing to say, he cant drive a 2200 so the extra power the eco would give him he wouldnt know what to do

Yeah I can say I have never heard that before. Maybe a 2.4, but not a 2200.
FU Tuning
when snapping rod bearing or main bearing, can you just swap a new crank with bearing or the rod will have to be checked and block also?
my 2.4 started to knock really bad and i wanted to repair myself but without taking the engine out, so basically just install new crank and bearings.
thanx

ok well today i pulled the top half of my engine apart and everything was fine so the only thing it could be now is a broken bearing so looks like a new rebuilt engine for me. oh and twisted motorsports its ok cuz i can handle a car with alot of power. actually one with about 400 whp.
