I recently installed a 2.3 LO manifold on my LD9, and I need some help with some issues. I drove the car 3 or 4 times without any problems, but out of nowhere, I started throwing codes. I have a TPS low input, Lean system, and IAC low input. I was wondering if anyone had ever had the same problems and if you could let me know how you solved them. Thanks for any input.
Are your using a 2.3 or 2.4 TB and what sensors are you using 2.3 or 2.4...
Use 2.4 with 2.4 TB use 2.3 with 2.3TB

Sorry. I'm using the 2.4 TB with all the 2.4 sensors. I'm thinking the TPS sensor might have just gone bad, but I'll have to wait til next time I go home to investigate further.

that is not always true.. i used the 2.3TB with 2.3 sensors and it ran like crap until i switch the tps back to the 2.4 version.
i would say try your original 2.4 sensor before going and buying a new one, if you can.

He just said he is using 2.4 TB and sensors.

You probably had a faulty sensor. I used the 2.3 w/ 2.3 sensor, and the car ran like crap...I then used the modified 2.4 sensor, but I could only go real slow or WOT (when trying to slowly accelerate, the car would bog down). Replaced the 2.3L sensor with a new 2.3L one, and the car works flawlessly (voltages measured to be correct). There is also a slight difference in the way the wheel of the sensors work. I believe the 2.3L one has a crescent moon shape, whereas the 2.4L is a blade. I can't remember exactly.

make sure you didnt damage any of the wires , since they have to get pulled outta the stock harness to reach , you mighta cut 1 , or pinched it somewhere

When you say modified 2.4 sensor, which sensor are you talking about? I didn't read anything about modding any sensors.
I used Purple Power degreaser to clean my 2.4 tb before I put it on, do you think that mighta fried my TPS? I'll check the wires next time I'm home but I don't think I cut any. I'm also without WOT, but I didn't know if the TPS had anything to do with that. Thanks for the help so far guys!
Sorry Jason...I was refering to adapting the 2.4L sensor to a 2.3L throttle body.
The best way to measure if your TB sensor is working correctly is to test the voltage (with the car off and key turned). At 0% throttle, the voltage should be around 0.5V and at WOT, it should be close to 5V.
Unless you sprayed the degreaser on the electrical contacts, I highly doubt that affected it.

I'll have to test it this weekend. And what I did with the degreaser is tape off the sensor plug and just soaked it in the degreaser, so that might not have been the smartest thing to do

But even if my TPS is bad, it still doesn't explain why I'm running so lean and why my IAC is messed up.
