Does cutting off your cat converter really give u more horse on a 2.4 cause i thought bout doin it and i know it will sound like crap when i do but i need 2 know if it reall gives u some horse

I do not sujest you do that. If you are worried about getting more HP then buy a high flow cat, because one there is a sensor on the cat that will throw a code. So your going to want to keep that, and yes it will sound really raspy.

You will gain maybe 1hp without a cat over a high flow Magnaflow cat. I'd go with the Magnaflow cat and stay legal.
