"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.
what all would need to be done?
Search and I'll call BS on you. Also, I'll say it again. IT'S STUPID!!!!.

2.3 Ho
come on dude i just want an answer
It's possible but why would you wanna waste the money doing it? People asked stupid @!#$ like this before and got nothing but stupid answers.
waste money? if you think about it we all are wasting money
Yeah but using a B16 is stupid in a J. Once you understand that a B16 engine SUCK in a J, then you'll know to mod the engine you have.
A B16 got what? 130-140hp? Got what for torque? 10lbs?

2.3 Ho
I agree it is stupid but to each their own. Posts like this come up all the time so the regulars on here get tired of answering the same questions when you could search and find what you need. Im far from an expert but I would imagine it would cost a lot of money unless you have a lot of time and good fabrication skills. You would need a way to mount it, transmission, a way to mount that, or a way to mate the engine to the trans already in your car, custom axles for a honda trans and gm hubs, redo all the wiring in the engine compartment along with ecm, the list goes on. Your best bet is to go with a 2.3 HO or a built 2.4, either way it would cost less even though the B16 has a bigger following and more available parts. Thats why you will find much hostility reguarding questions like these....its possible but financially idiotic unlesss your doin it for somthing out of the ordinary/only J that has it type of thing.
Search for 3800 swap and read that build up...it will give you a better idea of the involvment and that is with gm parts that can be made to work together much easier than honda and gm parts.
anything is possible with enough money. better of getting en ecotec and swapping that in.

01' b16a2 has 160 hp and 110tq
I say you should do it, I heard most the mounts are the same. I think the tranny basically bolts up, and F exhaust, who needs it.
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
exactly with any amount of money you can swap in whatever you want. But why would you want a b16 motor when ecos walk si's all the time. I know from experience..... now a b16 in a bubble is different but car for car and motor for motor the eco all the way
In order to do it you'll need to change EVERYTHING.
It wont mount in the car so you'll have to make custom engine mounts, just to hold it.
The engine spins the opposite way of the GM motors, so you cant put it on your stock trans. Otherwise, you have 1 forward gear, and 5 reverse gears.
Since you wont be using the GM transmission, your shifter wont work. So you'll have to change that too. Honda's like to use rod linkage too (we have cable linkage) So you'll need to fit all that in. PLUS, due to the size difference in the cars, you'll have to make custom length shifter rods.
The GM ECU wont run it. So you need a Honda ECU. BUT, you have to splice that in with your current ECU somehow.. Which is going to involve a lot of time staring at wiring diagrams to figure out what is what. Without the GM ECU in the car, you wont have some of the stuff that you normally use in the car. Like a speedometer. Which, BTW, isnt going to read correctly since you've changed the transmission.
See how much pointless work you're going to put in the car to put in a B16? Then it'll feel like you have less power to move the car due to the lack of TQ that it has. I swapped an engine too.... I'll post a little difference for you and let you figure out what would make a J-body move faster.
Honda B16
160hp/106tq
GM 3400 V6
180-185hp/
205-210tq (depending on if you get it from a minivan or not)
Think about which one will make you faster. Have a nice day.
damnit. fine don't do it, it would be dumb

okay then how about getting some power out of a 2.2 ohv?Should i go with the hahn racecraft stage 2 kit?
If you wanna swap do an Eco and turbo it. Easier to do and more power then the 2.2 ohv
swap in an ecotec dude. you will be happy with it
