i was wondering, whats the thinnest head gasket out there for the 2.4, would like it to be cometic if they make one smaller than my .030" one, im wondering to raise the CR alittle. thanks.
I think Cometic is the smallest one, unless you have a custom one made. I think stock thickness is around .050"

wheres my boost??
cometic has 0.030" and I believe stock is 0.046 or close to that. Make sure you read some articles on quench before you order a head gasket though.
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
And make sure to take measurements before deciding on your gasket thickness. You need to pull the head and measure your piston depth at TDC under full tilt. Your rods are most likely a little longer than stock, your pistons may have a raised/lowered pin hole, and yoiur block may have been milled slightly. Leave at least .030" clearence after the head gasket if keeping the stock rev limiter, and at least .040" if you plan on raising it.
Cometic can make the gasket to any thickness as long as it is thick enough to accomodate the top and bottom patterns. SCE can make a copper gasket to any thickness as well.
