drill and tap the end of the fuel rail then put a 90 deg fitting in there and put the gauge on that

You dont even need a fitting if you buy the right fuel rail gauge.. I got the 1" and somethin from Jegs and I tapped the rail, and the guage screwed right in.

I don't have an Eco, but I recall the Eco's fuel line has a schrader valve on it (same as a tire valve), which you can connect a fuel gauge to. No drilling or tapping necessary.

yes the gauge can be there till the rest of the car rots away. and no one can tell you the thread b/c that depends on the gauge, and if you cant figure out the threads that are on the gauge then your not gonna be able to tap the fuel rail properly and no one here will tell you how, b/c of liability. if you do it and its not right, and your driving down the road and it starts leaking and your car starts on fire............ you see where im goin with this???? im not trying to be a dick just tellin you how it is

^ that wasn't very helpful...

I believe the schrader valve is a -4AN fitting... but I don't have an Eco here to check.

Oh no...

Get a Haynes manual...
1. It costs less than half of what a Fuel pressure gauge costs
2. You'll look even cooler
3. It will serve you more purpose than watching your fuel pressure stay at a constant 43 psi at idle.

Awesome...It just sounded like a typical ricer response...My appologies, bro.

Get the fuel pressure gauge for sure then.

Be careful with leaving that gauge attatched to the Schrader valve full time. I had the gauge that comes with the Hahn turbo kit on my fuel line and when I went to change the gauge and put a permanent one on the Schrader vavle twisted off of the fuel line completely and I had to buy new lines to fix it. I don't think I would mount a gauge directly to the line. Maybe run a hose from the Schrader valve and to a gauge mounted elsewhere. Just my $0.02
