eco internals question

ok just b4 anyone says it....iv already read up on some of the stickys and i researched a lil....but, im thinking about doing internals b4 i go and do turbo....iv never really messed with internal work b4 and im curious what are the best things to do?...what should i buy and from where?...im not real worried about price because i wana do it the right way...no shortcuts here!...i started off that way and waisted a good bit of cash...

go read the gm build book.

Definately the build book,, it tells you what internals need to be replaced depending on the amount of power you wish to generate.

The build book sucks. Owen you of all people should know the numbers aren't right, you've seen my stock internal dyno sheets.


Pistons, rods, and bearings are a must replace if your doing a build. Get a head and cams for a nice power gain. Crankwork is a good plan too. Shoot me an IM and I can help you out.
