New GP idea
Tuesday, February 06, 2007 10:40 AM
Hey guys. As I promised I am going to do another GP very soon. Here's what I was thinking....

-All Patriot Performance products at a discounted price.
-All Comp Cams products at a discounted price.
-Even bigger discounts on J-Body products from both companies.

Sound good?

well, considering I just found out that I have to replace one of the cams in my Ion Eco for the swap into my Cavalier... I'd like to see what you could do with the Comp cams.

I can do a lot. Just need to see what kind of interest there is first.

Here's what I'm thinking for prices...gotta run them by Comp and Patriot though.

Comp Stage 1 NA: Normal $435.99 GP $400.99
Comp Stage 2 NA: Normal $455.99 GP $409.99
Comp Stage 3 NA: Normal $465.99 GP $415.99
Comp Blower Grind: Normal $465.99 GP $400.99
Comp Turbo Grind: Normal $465.99 GP $400.99
Patriot Stage 1 Ecotec: Normal $1095.99 GP $950.99
Patriot Stage 2 Ecotec: Normal $1275.99 GP $1100.99
Patriot 2200 Head: Normal $650.99 GP $575.99

Everything will be finalized before the GP runs though. Also like I said before, EVERYTHING from both companies will be on sale to some degree.

I'd probably be in for a set of blower grind cams.

Probably one of the NA grinds. I'll call and ask when I get some free time though.

Anyone know how the SC'd Ecos are responding to the Stage I head and blower cams?

CELs...idle, WOT, etc?? What other supporting mods are needed?

I've wanted to get both for a while but just wondering how the car will respond? Also...what about internals? Think you can run the cams and head without doing internals?

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
