are you getting any spark blow out?? if not it is fine.. on a boosted motor we run as tight as 0.024-0.026, depending conditions... with my MSD I have opens up to 0.034 with tr6 (4177 IIRC)..

if you are having no issues with missing or sparkblow out then 0.050 is fine.

well...i'm not sure...because the CEL isn't coming on....and i would think that something like that would activate the CEL.....but i'm getting a bit of a stumble at the begining of acceleration....actually...its not just acceleration....i could be sitting in the driveway....letting her idle....and if i rev her up....she'll stumble for a second or two......and then continue revving up normally.....now i've notice that if i step on the pedel VERY slowly.....it doesn't do it....but if i step on the pedal in a normal fashion....it does.....so.....could that be missing or spark blowout???.....

from my experience, sparkblow out, your egt's stay super low and you have issues all the time, (higher rpm for myself)

it sounds almost like something with your MAP sensor (vacumm line) might have a crack in it, or your FPR vacumm line might not be hooked up correctly. I would check those and see what I come up with. It sounds almost like a "lean misfire" but that would be hard to say from so little information, but hopefully this helps.

If you want to try a few other things you can (when engine is cold) gap your plugs down to 0.035" and see it that makes a difference.

Or try running a really high octane fuel to see if that helps....

i thought about vacuum....i was going to re-torque the intake manifold....and throttle body bolts....to see if that helps.....i'll check the vaccume lines for any cracks and what not....she's not doing anything else besides that....all in all...she idles fine.....and runs just as good....no codes what so ever are coming up....thinking about plugging in a OBD-II reader just for the hell of it....but i doubt if anything pops up....

running 91 octane....which is the highest i've seen anywhere in so-cal.....i'll try pouring in an octane booster....see if that helps....

thanks for the help....
