Then once you've read, feel free to ridicule if you wish.
Anyway, I hope this doesn't come off as a post like the others that want 300 hp and seem to have no clue whatsoever. After saying that though, I have no clue whatsoever. But here's the question.
2.2 eco, just looking to make more power. Eventually I would like to put on the gm supercharger with just the first stage of tuning (I think I remember hearing there were two?). As I sit right now, I'm basically all stock, 2 1/4" catback and a short ram intake. Have the ttr upper motor mount sitting in front of me but it's to damn cold to go outside and put it on and lastly a short shifter. I know it's not much, but it's what I'm starting with. I have no specific hp number that I want to hit, the number isn't really all that important in my mind, but I would like to have a respectable increase that would surprise people from a sunfire. Now I've read the sticky up top regarding ecotec builds but it seems kind of outdated with some of the information. I know daskwirl is all n/a but would kind of following in his footsteps be a good idea on what to do leading up to the supercharger? Basically if anyone wouldn't mind taking some time and providing a list of what I would want to look into regarding any/all aspects of the engine I'd very much appreciate it. Links to places to purchase these things would be nice, but not necessary, I don't mind trying to look into them further, but I have no idea really where to start. Any more information that you might want just ask.
I know it's going to cost in the end, but I have no vices and a fairly decent job so I have no problem with saving the money.
So! if you wish to put the post/myself down feel free I'm a big boy

But any help would be appreciated thank you.
Anyone?
Or is it a stupid question?
Header (lots of choices)
21/4" cat (Local exhaust shop)
pulleys
larger throttle body (couple of people including myself got one from ebay from Riva22)
Patriot head (I believe there is a gp right now)
some cams (same gp as the head)
HP tuner
rods &pistons
All the vendors on the site can get you most if not all of these things.
Thank you for the reply
I do have the catback already in 2 1/4" will that be alright down the road with the s/c or should I get it redone at that time with 2 1/2 - 3?
Definately get it rdeone if you end up going with a good n/a build, or with any form of forced induction. The 2.25" is ok right now, but for big power you'll need to go bigger.
