W'sup everyone, I finally got the cash to do some things to my '96 Sunfire. I need info on web purchase sites to go to so I can get some performance parts for my car at a reasonable price. Looking for everything from headers, cat-back, turbos, brakes,body-kits, etc. Help a Brotha out. This is my toy and it's time to do a lil' playin' with it before the summer hits. 'Preciate it!

most start with an intake and then go from there. i started with suspenion. but you have to start some where, right?

Go with OBX or Tsudo header they are cheap and they work pretty good, motor mounts, exhaust, U can go on ebay and buy your intake they are like $30-$50. Then some nitrous, this is the cheapest hp that ur are going to get.

Yep, I agree. First thing would be to get rid of the wang. Second thing, start simple with something like an intake. Make sure that you don't go blowing your money on a header if you plan on turboing it later. There isn't a crapload to be gained on a stock motor by putting a header on it anyway. I personally like a very well rounded car (hence the BMW) so be sure to not spend all your time modding the motor. The suspension and some tastefull visual mods keep the car performing well all over. Even if your car is not the fastest in a straight line, it will be an extremely fun car to drive if you upgrade things all throughout the car.
My best advice to give would be to figure out what you wanna do with the car... you gonna do quartermile drag racing... or perhaps auto-x? Or just perhaps a little show stopper... etc... then that will give you an idea of where you wanna go for parts n etc... and give all of us a better idea of what to tell ya to help ya out the best. carcustoms.net is a great site. Karo is amazing for service & prices... one of my personal favorites. But theres a lot of other sites too that do great things, turbotechracing.com, gravanatuning.com, modifiedmotorsportz.com (sp?) and a ton of others.... just look around the org and you'll find a lot of info, searching does wonders =)
Also on a side note... yea not feeling the wing... but thats a personal preference... if it works for you, by all means =P
And nitrous is always fun... I know I like sucking on my bottle =)

Thanks yall for the info. I think what i'm lookin for is a show stopper (Cavy). Not really lookin to blow the engine. lol I'd be the one replacin it. Just wonna spuce it a little to give a liltle show every once in a while. thanks for the web addresses. Those helped altot. I think i'm gonna start with th intake. Cause i already got the H&R 1.75 drop. I even have the Aerospeed exaust but i'm lookin to replace with a smaller belled muffler. It drags on everything. So keep the ideas comin!
