Good work.
If you are going through all the work to fit it in the tiny shell that is the J-body, why no header to boot?

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
Yup, that's the 3800 supercharged V6 from a 2000 Buick Park Avenue Ultra... same swap as Raven and a few others have done or are currently doing... I'm using different mounts (stock on the sides, hangs the weight from the frame rails, then the rear uses the stock J-body subframe, modified a bit... the front will be modified a bit once I finish the front subframe extension.).... but otherwise it's the same as Raven and the others, so nothing "really special"...
I'm using the whole Park Ave drivetrain, the 4T65E-HD automatic transmission that came with it (for now, at least!).. I'm going to finish the swap and get it running 100% before I mod the new engine. I've got ported exhaust manifolds (no WAY that headers would fit... no clearance to the firewall as it is...).. plus the DHP Powrtuner to tune it (kinda like HPTuners, but for the V6 engines only). I have a 4T65E Autotrans Interceptor for it as well, so I can see what effect it has and then duplicate that with the Powrtuner instead.
I'll be using the L67 axles, shortened to fit the J-body width... the outer hubs too, which I'm bolting to N-body knuckles... and the 12" Park Ave front brakes... should stop nicely
It's taken me a long, long time... Basically, I've been lazy... and it's outside... I don't like the cold.... stupid carport acts like a wind tunnel some days!!! Plus I'm trying to make sure everything fits perfect, so I don't have to go back and fix things later on... but doing the research is hard when there's so few out there who've done the swap AND are willing to share the info in a timely manner

No fear!! I'm writing up a whole "how to" page, so when you all decide to do the swap it will be really easy on you
I'm going to tackle the wiring next... not looking forward to it, but it's a necessary evil... and it's going to be easier now than later when there's stuff in the way.
I need to drop the fuel tank and put the L67 fuel pump in now... upgrade some of the lines, I think the L67 is larger on the supply and return lines. I'm going to make an access panel from under the rear seat, so I don't have to drop the tank ever again... this will be the third time I've done it now!!!
I've got a lot of work still...
Very nice man.. That engine looks brand new

John, didnt you have a vert auto, then sold it because it was auto to get the 2K stick, and now back to auto?
Any ways, kick ass, lots of talent and bravery to do this swap, good luck

Nice. Hopefully you have better "luck" with this car than in the past.
I've never heard of this "part throttle" before. Does it just bolt on?
The red convertible continues to be one of my favorite J's. Very nice work!
