Windage Tray / Crank Scrapers
I believe this tray, gm p/n 22536409, from the 2.3 will work with the 2.4 motor, but the oil pan would have to be modified to clear it???
So does anyone make crank scrapers for a LD9 motor?
Any ideas or questions are welcomed.
I'm sure a miller performance oil pan would word with this fine correct.

I haven't seen any crank scrapers but try
http://www.crank-scrapers.com I sent my Eagle rod to them for clearancing for the 2200 motor on the scraper they make......which reminds me that I still have to order one with windage tray.....lol.....
2.3L Windage tray won't work with a stock LD9 without MAJOR MODIFICATION to it. The stock balance shaft/oil pump assembly takes up about half of the space between the oil and crank, and I guess could be called a windage barrier for cylinders 1&2.

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.
to use the windage tray, as stated above you do need to include the 2.3 pump swap, which even though looks like a big process, it is very straight forward and simple. drill 2 holes for feed, weld about 4-5 holes shut, mount pump, drill/tap 2 holes for windage tray to bolt to, very simple and takes about an hour or 2.
if you want to go ahead with the swap, I have a 2.3 pump and windage tray I would let go for really cheap. The pump came from a 2.3 reman engine that the car was totaled, the dealer said it had around 10-15km on it, so it is practically new. PM me if you are interested.
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
yea, the windage tray fits fine...... once you scrap the balance shafts.......
as for crank scrapers....... that web site above would be the best bet...... but I've never seen one.
