Ecotec exhaust setup, what do you think?

I'm going to be doing a full exhaust on my 04 LS, and have compiled a list of parts I am going to be using, but want to run it by ya'll first, let me know if i'm missing anything, or should rethink any particular item, and why. Currently, I have an aem cai on the car, and that is all.

Pacesetter header: black painted
(yes I plan on sand blasting and repainting this with high temp paint)
Magnaflow 2.25" high flow cat
Tenzo TT2225T Type-2 Stainless Muffler with 4" Titanium Tip

I decided to initially go resonatorless, to see how it sounds, but if anyone has$.02 they wanna throw in on that, do.
I have a new gm manifold gasket on the way.

2.25" mandrel bent piping

Has anyone had any problems with the magnaflow 2.25" cat throwing codes?
Other then that, I can't think of anything I'll need.

with the Magnaflow cat, make sure you use the 94035 cat, and not the 91035.

with the header, I'd say save the money and get the ceramic coated version. you'll be happier in the long run.

yes, the 94035 is the one i have planned, and everyone keeps saying spring for the ceramic coated one, but what is the major difference? why would i be happier is the better question.

yes youll be happier with the coated

paint isnt a thermal barrier , the coated header uses a ceramic coating , and it is a thermal barrier , and keeps more heat inside the header

as well as keep under hood temp down

Even if money is an issue you could use the Tsudo 4-2-1 stainless from ebay. Should be the same price as the unpainted pacesetter and 2 of the fastest ecos on the boards are using it. Also you will want a resonator...i would reccomend something like a 22" or so and you wont regret it. good luck

I was thinking about the tsudo... maybe that's what I'll try.
Who has a stainless resonator? Haven't seen any on gravanatuning or turbotechracing...
any good place to get one?

Entirely my bad, I meant tsudo. I even priced them and checked out some of the sellers on ebay, just typed it incorrectly... my bad.

looks good for a complete setup. painted header is fine, tsudo is fine, ceramic is better. i have the pacesetter painted, magnaflow cat, 2.5" mandrel piping and a N1 style muffler (basically the same as the tenzo)

its so loud. i'll be putting a resonator on in a couple weeks.

if you want it loud and a little raspy go without the resonator. a little deeper and quieter go with a resonator
