Hey guys quick question, should i go ahead and plug up the o-2 bung on my high flow cat and leave the stock one where it is, or vice-versa?

please rephrase this, because as im reading it im seeing you installing the cat, plugging the o2 bung, and leaving the sensor hanging.

It sounds like he has stock exhaust piping and added a aftermarket hi-Flow cat that has a O2 bung in it. He is asking should he use it or leave the O2 sensor in the stock bung. Truly does not matter, but why are you putting a hi-flow cat on stock exhaust?

I'm not its just stock piping from back of the cat to the cat back, thats all. I've got the rk 4-2-1 header and a monza cat-back, i am completing with the high flow and the resonator.

then you only have two bungs, one in the header, and one in the cat. you have two o2 sensors. my math says theres nowhere to put a plug.

I think he is saying that there is a very small stretch of stock piping of which the stock o2 bung happens to be. My guess would be so that it bolts up to the catback and welded to the high flow cat...so he could very well have two o2 bungs in the piping and one in the header.

Like John said, it doesn't matter, as long as the o2 bung is after the cat. Use one of them and plug the other.

You nees to take that small section of stock piping out. You are going to have a big bottle neck in the exhaust, and it will not flow that well.

John is right and I think you should be very specific about your set up (maybe even pics) if you want to get good solid advice. People seem to be guessing as to how exactly your exhaust is set up and what size each section is. An example of detail - I have the same header as you and my exhaust is set up;

RK Sport 4-2-1 header to (pre cat O2 Sensor)
2.25 S/S pipe section to
Magnaflow High Flow Cat
2.25 S/S pipe section to (post cat O2 sensor at cat side junction)
2.25 S/S Dual exhaust Y junction to
Magna flow dual exhaust 2.25 pipes and mufflers

I'm not trying to tell you how to do it, just that specific detail will get you better advice. Good Luck.

Okay, the high flow cat i got, has a bung for an 0-2 sensor. Should i use that or the stock location.

How would that make it bottleneck if its all the same size (2.25)? Honestly I am asking I am not being sarcastic.

okay if this helps this is how it goes now
1. Header to the downpipe o-2 sensor
2. o-2 sensor to pipe
3. pipe to front of cat
4. after cat to pipe (pipe has o-2 sensor in it)
5. pipe to cat-back

I'll let the more experienced guys answer since my magna flow cat did not come with a O2 bung, but hope my comments did not sound sarcastic.

If the ID of that section is 2.25" straight through, then it is fine, but I think the stock piping is 1 7/8" ID. Hence the reason John told you there would be a bottle neck.
