Okay fella's.. i know you guys are tired of seeing me by now..lol.. but i have a question that i've researched and didn't really see anything answering it.. im going with 10.5:1 pistons.. and making it all N/A.. but then later hooking up the nitrous later. so which head gasket would be better for my build.. the .30.. or the .74 .. Cometic of course.. so hit me back and let me know.

im referring to the size of the gasket.. .030 or .074??

What is your piston-to-deck height?

Well it wouldn't help for me to tell you this because it's about to change... im having the deck and the block decked, so i'm thinking i should go with the .074, but will it be as practical as the .030, or would it be better? Since they have it listed as "for boosted", it has me thinking that maybe its for higher compression engines? any info guys?????

Without the deck height, nobody can tell you which one you should get. Period. Ignore the "boosted" or "na" comments", they don't mean jack on your motor.

The thicker gasket is meant to lower your compression to better handle the boost pressure. I put a .74 in my N/A til i got the turbo installed and it ran awful til i got some boost going. Notec is a smart guy though, listen to him. And word of warning, the .30 is thinner than stock to raise the compression.
Decking the head and block, only to add a thicker headgasket seems like a waste of money. If anything go with a stock thickness. This way, your getting the gain from the decking your getting done. Your compression is going to be pretty high with the pistons and decking, and going to the .030" gasket would only raise it more. Personally, i would go with a stock thickness.
