exhaust dilemma

ok...so i went into my local exhaust shop and i wanted them to bend me some tubing and but a new muffler and a new cat on there....so i asked the guy and he told me that all the perfromance im goin to gain is in the muffler so i went and asked him just to do the whole set up and he refused becasuse all the performance is in the muffler?? is that true or is he just lazy and doesnt want to bend the pipes

so you'll get more performance if you have bigger tubing than stock too?/

Go to a different place. You'll gain more with a complete exhaust.

problem is that it is the only exhaust shop in my town .....unless i order a jegs kit already bent for me ...

order a ebay system then cause if he thinks that then he prolly isnt going to do a good job on yours

Or you just go to Flowmaster and pick up a full exhaust kit from them. Duh.

If you want a custom exhaust go to custom tubes inc on the net and you can order one from them. They just dont have them listed on the supported cars list. Many members have purchased their mandral bent 2.5 and 3in exhausts from there.
