Alrighty...im talking about the EXHAUST manifold ( not intake) from a 2.3L HO motor. Does it fit on a 2.4L Twin Cam engine? How much work is it?
I don't really wanna hear about how much of a waste it is and not worth it as I've heard it all. I just want SMALL power adders (well not really power adders but you know what i mean) to add to my engine. I can get ahold of both the intake and exhaust manifolds from HO for like $50 and I just want to know how much work for the EXHAUST as ive read all about the intake.

Well.. It would have to be port matched for sure. I'm not sure if the bolt holes even line up really. I know nobody is bolting up any 2.4 header to a 2.3, probably for just those reasons. They're not drastically different, but apparently enough different that nobody has seen fit to make it work.
I would just hit up someone with a used pacesetter header for sale, and be done with it. Like.. Seriously.. If you did actually spend the money to get the 2.3 exhaust manifold port matched, and new mounting holes drilled for it you would be the only one I know of with such a thing, but then again.. After all that's done you could of probably bought something that bolts up for less.

That's not even getting into the issue with the different exit angles between the 2.4 and 2.3 exhaust manifolds.. You would probably have to re-route your heater line just to make it fit..

yea, the bolt holes are WAY off, and I dont think there is enough meat on the 2.3 flange to drill new holes.
I might be redrilling a 2.4 flange for the 2.3 though

why?! if you really want a header use a old 88-90 quad 4 header...4-2-1..... SOME people say that the secoundarys suck, but DuganZ24 has one on his...... and his cars pretty damn Zippy........
im making one for my GTZ, but im redoing my secoudarys with 2" mandurl bent piping.... (OE the pipes are all 1.5")

Well.. My brother grabbed a header out of a junk yard for me, and I have to say that for being stock, it looks pretty bad ass. Nothing beats mandrel bent, though.

friggen everyone and their brother can find HO intake and exhaust mani's BUT me....all the HO driven cars are still being driven in my area. which sucks..no one wants to part with them, they know they're are the way...and it's annoying. anyone got spares?
