Hello all my fellow LD9ers I have great news for anyone who wants to use the 086 HO head on the LD9 block, I just got off the phone with Cometic and they already have an LD9 head gasket but now you can get one with bore sizes up to 94mm!
I',m getting 2 with .074 thickness and 93mm bore so no more modifying 2.3 head gaskets or having to worry abpout the fire ring of a stock bore size hanging in the combustion chamber of the 086 head!
The pn for the head gasket with the 93mm bore is H-2379SP1.
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.

I just called Cometic and told them what I wanted and they created a part number for it while I was on the phone, you can either call Cometic ( i don't have the phone number right in front of me, just Google Cometic Gaskets ) or contact Karo at CarCustoms and give him the pn in my first post and tell him what thickness you want and he can get it for you.
