First off, some one really needs to make a fuel pump sticky. Anyways. ive been reading and reading and reading...
What pumps work with which types of cars? 95-99, 00-02, 03+ or are they the same?
Does the fuel pump style change from year to year? If so, what years are they same/different?
Is the 4.3L fuel pump plug & play? no modifications besides the little tab thingys? Does it have fuel cut? What year cavy/sunfire does it work for?
Walbro 190/255... Have we found a setup that works yet? Can we get some part #'s of these pumps? Part #'s for the kits to install them?
Well these are just some questions i thought of at the moment,. But im sure you guys get the point. I give mega props to who ever can come up with all this information and make a sticky.
The 95-99 pump assemblies are the same, so are the 00-05 ones. The level sender changed.
I don't know about other pump swapping... but I hacked up my fuel pump to stuff the pump (just the pump tho) from the Buick Park Ave I grabbed the 3.8L s/c engine from, into my Cavalier.. it was a pain to make it fit. I hope it works.
The fuel cut is in the PCM. Sorry dude, you're still stuck at 108mph.
