i have been getting the worst gas mileage ever... i have changed the plugs 500 miles ago new performance wires header weapon r intake cat-back exhaust and the thing is i get about 225 to the tank stepping on it... or 275 without stepping on it during trips on the highway to work 30 miles away.... its pretty bad gas mileage as far as I'm concerned but I'm wondering what anyone else thinks i can do to get better? toluene? something...

Did you damage you o2 sensor? IAT sensor? Maybe you damaged one or both? Did you disconnect the battery and do a relearn?

. He's right, that can help alot. Sometimes an exaust can lower gas milage a little, so can low tires. How often to you let the car idle? I can get an average of 14mpg in the winter because I live 1.3 miles from work, and I'm always letting the car warm up, it has a huge factor on gas milage. Also, do the math and find out what your milage is, it will help to see how bas it really is. I usually go about 225 miles before my car hits 1/4 tank, but almost all my driving is in town.

i had a leaky fuel line a while back and was getting 180 miles for the tank but fixed that and still getting crappy o2 is new i have a high flow cat so im running an o2 eliminator for the emissions one and i have ran lucas through it next thing is sea foam again and i have the ambient air temp sensor hooked up right and everything

Has it always been this bad or just something recent? Do you do mainly city or highway driving? I used to live about 3-4 minutes away from work and my millage sucked. I'd get about 20ish in the winter and about 25mpg in the summer. I moved out further away from work and it now takes me 20 minutes to get to work with 50% highway and 50% city driving and my mileage went up to 30-31mpg now.

If you live 3 miles from work, and your only getting gas every other week, that's pretty normal, there's nothing wrong with your car.
]yeah i just now travel to jersey which is 30 miles to and 30 from and i am only getting like 220 miles to my tank and i know thats bad cuz my buddy beats the @!#$ outa his accord and intake and exhaust 91 and he gets like 385 to the tank and he redlines every gear he goes thru...
