i've been doing a lot of searching on this forum looking for the bes set-up to build an all motor ecotec. I'm impressed with everything i've seen! People have crazy set-ups and great power but why are there very few cars running under 14.5"s all motor!? I'm starting my own all-motor project and i need some ideas! So far here is my list of what im ordering at the end of the month. Knife edged crank, GRP Aluminum rods, wiseco 10.5:1 pistons, balance shafts and ARP hardware to fasten it together. Clevite bearings are my choice and the block is being o-ringed with a copper headgasket. NOw that i have my bottom end planned out, can somebody give me some ideas for the top end? im new to the ecotec and 4-cylinders for that matter. ANy help is appreciated

GRP Aluminum rods,
Unless its a PURE race engine and NOTHING else, I would not go with Alum. Rods.
