Softer Motor Mount Q's

The car is a 97 Sunfire 2.2l. I don't own the car anymore so I would like to keep the cost down if possible. It currently has the RKSport upper insert and lower dogbone and it also has a full exhaust. The vibrations are really getting to the driver. I was wondering if I could just put the mounts back to stock or would I have problems with exhaust leaks. If so is there softer ones that are made to go in. Where to get them would be helpful.

mounts are too hard so get harder mounts??????

yea you can put stock mounts back in, should be fine assuming you have a proper flexjoint

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

The Turbo tech dogbone is on the expensive side, but DOES transmit less vibration from the engine to the chassis, and its just as good a mount otherwise as the RKsport/Prothane unit. Plus it looks alot better, being machined aluminum. The upper mount removed BTW, would make the vibes alot less noticeable, and with the lower dogbone you'll still have SOME of the benefits of stiffer mounts.
