.045 any bigger and HPT would log massive misfires.

.28 NGK TR-7's
but there are alot of reasions for that.

I have not installed my coils yet, but I have ngk tr6 set at .60. The plugs I have in my car now are set at .60, is this why I have a miss until the car warms up? I was hoping the coil conversion would solve this problem. I am going to regap my plugs

i have TR6's set at between .28 and .30

isnt one of the advantages to this mod to take advantage of a bigger gap?

Well, the main advantage is that you are one step closer to having a
real motor

Just for reference, try to stay close to stock gap as much as possible.

Well if you see. I have a .045 gap compared to everybody elses smaller gap, and im running the 2.2 coils.
so real motors only have one cam?

whats the stock gap with tr6's?

what do TR-6's come in STOCK, would be the better question.
The people you see runing smaller gaps have boosted appt's
my self have a Supercharged 2.4 LD9 (127K), that see's 10 PSI now, and water injection on top of it. with the .028-.030 gap it dosent miss fire all the way to 7400 RPM. also my coils and Team Greens MODed ICM is from a 1987 2.5.
but it runs great like i have it.

Yea I got tr6's gapped at .030 or something around there, kept getting misfires so thats why they are gapped so low

sorry to jack ur shiit OP...
ok, i guess i should have asked this:
im running tr6's n/a, but have spray. what should i gap mine to staying n/a with no spray, and what should i gap them to WITH spray in mind? or should i just leave them at the gapping they came from their manufactuer with for both?
ive also wondered if i should get tr55's (stock heat range) and be done with it...

If your spraying dont stay with stock heat range. im not sure on gap tho

For N/A gap stock. I'm running NGK NTR-55's at stock gap.
